BuiltHub networks at EUSEW 2022 Energy Fair

The 2022 edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) took place last month, from 26-29 September. It took place online, as well as in Brussels (Belgium). This year, conversations centred around the theme of 'Going green and digital for Europe's energy transition'.

The BuiltHub project attended EUSEW as an exhibitor at the dedicated Energy Fair, where it shared a stand with sister projects MATRYCS, BIGG and BEYOND. It was also represented at the ICLEI Europe stand under the umbrella of "Making building stock energy efficient". The Energy Fair provided a valuable opportunity to allow the project to connect with a large group of potential project stakeholders, and discuss key project results - most notably, the BuiltHub platform.

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe and comprises a series of activities aimed at building a secure energy future for Europe. It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs, EU project partners, researchers and consumers to promote initiatives to go green and digital for Europe's energy transition. EUSEW is organised by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), in close cooperation with Directorate-General for Energy.

This year, the main topics of discussion throughout the four day conference included REPowerEU, the digitalisation and integration of energy systems, energy efficiency, renewables, consumers and a fair energy transition, decarbonisation policies and international cooperation.
