World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED)

In 2023, the World Sustainable Energy Days show the critical role of the energy transition in securing our clean energy future and concrete policies, technologies and markets to get us there.

The annual conference is a leading event on the energy transition and climate neutrality with over 650 participants from over 60 countries; including energy companies, service providers, planners, developers, the energy research community and representatives from public bodies.

A number of events are scheduled to take place throughout the WSED 2023; including the European Energy Efficiency Conference from 2-3 March, Innovation Workshops on 3 March, and the Poster Presentation from 28 February to 3 March.

WSED 2023 is set to take place in Wels, Austria. It is hosted by OÖ Energiesparverband (ESV), which is the energy agency of Upper Austria.

The Horizon2020 project BuiltHub is set to host its own workshop during the Energy Efficiency Conference, on 3 March 2023 from 9:00-11:30. The workshop is titled, 'Tackling the energy crisis through data sharing' and will focus on how to help data sharing communities accelerate the transformation of the European building stock
